Contributions

We invite submissions for contributed talks (12 minutes presentation + 3 minutes discussion) and poster presentations (A0, portrait orientation). Posters will remain on display throughout the conference. A dedicated poster session with drinks and snacks will take place on the second day of the conference.

Decisions on contributed talks and poster presentations will be made after November 15, 2026. Applicants will be notified by email.


Student Competition

The Gesellschaft für Primatologie recognises the best oral and poster presentations by students with the GfP Awards. The awards will be presented on Friday, February 19, after the final presentations. Students who wish to participate in the competition must indicate this during registration.


Abstract preparation

Abstracts provide important information both for conference participants and for the organisers, who will develop the programme based on their assessment of the submitted contributions.

When preparing your abstract, please use the template provided below to facilitate the preparation of the abstract book.


Please observe the following guidelines:

  • Your abstract must not exceed 250 words.
  • Clearly state your research question or questions and describe your methodology, including sample sizes where applicable.
  • Be transparent about the current stage of your project, particularly if you intend to present a research plan rather than completed work.
  • Describe your main results and their implications.
  • Unless stated otherwise, we assume that the person submitting the abstract is both the first author and the presenter of the contribution.
