From Knowledge to Applications

Sep 19, 2019 - Sep 20, 2019

Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) on Campus Can Ruti
Badalona (Barcelona), Catalonia, Spain

General Description
We are pleased to welcome you to Genetics and Epigenetics of Leukemia and Lymphoma: From Knowledge to Applications. Organized by Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC).

The meeting will be held at the new headquarters of the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute, Badalona, Barcelona, from September 19th to 20th, 2019 (reduced registration fees and abstract submission for posters and short talks are available until September 12th).

This conference brings together leading scientists and clinicians in the field of leukemia and lymphoma. The goal of this meeting is to highlight the latest advances in our understanding of the molecular mechanisms driving blood cancers and to discuss how this knowledge can be translated into an improved management of the disease. Special focus will be devoted to the role of genetic and epigenetic heterogeneity and the exploitation of epigenetic regulation for the development of biomarkers and novel treatment approaches.

We hope that the conference will meet all expectations and that fruitful discussions and new collaborations will be established as a result.

Welcome to Barcelona.

Warm regards,

Anna Bigas, Marcus Buschbeck, Manel Esteller, Pablo Menéndez and Francesc Solé
