How to request a payout

Once your conference has taken place, you can request a payout of the money that was collected. (Please note that to avoid scams we usually require that the conference has taken place before paying out the collected money. However, please contact us if this is a problem for you.)

Two different types of solutions are possible. One option is for us to transfer to you all the collected money as one lump-sum payment onto a bank account of your choosing. You can then use the money to pay your 3rd party providers (conference venue, catering, etc.). Alternatively, we can pay your 3rd party providers directly (i.e. several separate payments), in which case you need to enter several payout requests in the Conference Central system.

To request a payout, proceed as follows:

1. First log into your account
   
2. Click on "Conferences I organize"
   
3. In the table "My Conferences", click on the row corresponding to the conference you want to work on.
   
4. This is your conference dashboard. Scroll down to the very bottom. In the section "Remaining amount available for payout" you will see how much money is left for you to use.
   
5. At the very bottom, click on the "Request a conference payout" button.
   
6. This is the Payout Request form. Fill out the name of the person or company whom you would like to transfer money to.
   
7. Enter their bank account information.
   
8. Enter the subject of the payout (e.g. a bill number, or "Single lump-sum payout for conference XYZ", etc.) This information will appear on the bank transfer, so that the recipient knows what this money is for.
   
9. Enter the amount of money to transfer. Use a dot/period to indicate decimals (ie to separate full euros from cents).
   
10. For security, we request a 2-step authentication to complete the payout request. First, enter your Conference Central password in the corresponding field.
    
11. Secondly, click on the "Send 6-digit code" code button. Conference Central will send you an email with a 6-digit code. If you do not receive it within a 10 or 20 seconds, please check your SPAM folder.
    
12. Enter the 6-digit code in the corresponding field.
    
13. Click the "Submit" button.
    
14. Done! We will process the payout request within 24 hours. We use instant money transfers, so within Europe the money arrives within seconds. All payout requests and executed payouts will be listed on your conference dashboard.
